Project description:

This article tells about Saruan Hamlet in OKU Selatan Regency, South Sumatra Province, which uses a micro-hydro power plant to illuminate the village, because the state electricity network cannot enter the hamlet which is in the hills.

Impact reached:

Inspire the use of new renewable energy in remote villages, especially those that are not reached by the state electricity grid. The use of clean energy is also to reduce the use of fossil energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
