Martin Stabe is data editor at the Financial Times. He leads a team of data reporters who use computational techniques to obtain, analyse and present data to tell stories. The team also works with the FT’s wider visual and data journalism team to produce new data-driven forms of online storytelling for FT.com. Martin joined the FT in 2010 from business-to-business publisher Emap, where he was online editor of Retail Week. He began his career as a reporter covering digital media for British newspaper industry magazine Press Gazette.
