Joshua Hatch is Director of Digital Platforms and Audience at The Chronicle of Higher Education and The Chronicle of Philanthropy. His previous positions at the Chronicle include Associate Managing Editor for Digital and Senior Editor of Data and Interactives. In 2017-18, he held a Knight Science Journalism Fellowship at MIT and has recently co-edited a new Science Editing Handbook for MIT. Joshua has taught online journalism at American University and elsewhere since 2010 and also writes nonfiction children’s educational books on subjects ranging from the history of flight to modern communications.
