Media Hack Collective

Alastair Otter is a journalist and programmer from South Africa specialising in analysing and visualising public data. After working for more than 20 years as a journalist in many of South Africa’s largest newsrooms, he moved to visualising data. He is the co-founder of media-data startup Media Hack Collective and the IT Coordinator of the Global Investigative Journalism Network.
